What’s Melissa doing in her crazy little marketing world today?

Who doesn’t love an EASY way to market your business and get your name out in your community?

A friend of mine, Bridgett Edwards, let me know about this company. And I am SO excited to get these, I ordered 4 of them this morning.

These are lead boxes for direct sales companies. And I love ANYTHING that is CHEAP and EASY to help me market my business and get my name out into the community. I will post all the links to order below. I love these because you can buy the drawing pads that fit right on them.

I made this graphic to put on my Lead Boxes:

So what can you do with these?

Leave at local businesses for a few weeks at a time. I ordered 4 of them. I will put these at 4 businesses in week. And then I will pick them all back up 3 weeks later and do ONE drawing prize.

A few VERY important things for you to remember about these.

1. FOLLOW UP IS KEY! These don’t make a bit of difference if you don’t follow up with the leads

2. Leave your mini catalogs sitting next to the box so they can take them

3. Make conversation and a relationship with the employees. THIS is where many of your connections will come from. I cannot tell you how many times I have gotten parties and consultants from the employees where I visit. Sometimes I even bring in a little gift bag of goodies for the employees.

4. Put these boxes in your trunk. Even if you work a full time job, I guarantee you visit more businesses on a daily basis than you think. You can ask the owners of the places you visit ANYWAY. On your lunch hour, dropping kids off, running errands.  There really is no excuse to NOT be able to market your business with these boxes!

  1. Melissa, someone had asked you why did you use the enter to win pads rather than the drawing slip pads that ask about booking a party? I thought that was a good question myself. Thanks, Melissa.

  2. Hi Melissa, Is there another way we could use Lead Boxes. Home Office just told me that unless I’m giving everyone a prize, I can’t use the label I chose off of the website “boxfullofleads” which was “fill out a slip” “win a prize” “take a free calalog”. Any suggestions? Thanks
