So I just recently launched a Birthday Club for my Direct Sales customers. I tried to do this before, but it didn’t work out. I had no way to track it, I had no idea what I was going to do with it, and it just flopped! But NOW…I’m really excited!
So I launched it to my customers with a survey (you can see the post below for details on the survey). But here is what I’m doing with my Birthday Club.
Google Forms has this beautiful spreadsheet where I can pull the information from my “Birthday Club Survey”and sort by MONTH. So at the end of the month, I can go in and see:
1. which customer has a birthday that next month
2. and I can create ADDRESS LABELS (oh. my. gosh. right?!)
So what am I going to send them?
I’m going to send them a coupon for $10 off a $31 purchase or more. You could do $5 if you wanted. But it will be something to show them I care, tell them Happy Birthday, and just be a PRESENCE. Everyone loves getting recognized on your birthday. And who doesn’t love to spoil yourself for your birthday? So why not give them a coupon and let them do it with Thirty-One? Or your company, whatever that might be.
You could also add these orders to parties and make some hostesses happy when they get some extra perks. Or use it to get them to the next level and save you the $10 you just forked out on the $10 coupon!
Now here’s the BRILLIANT part:
I am going to add this form to every online event that I do. So when I have a hostess doing a Facebook party, this will be a way for me to get people to answer questions about booking and recruiting AND get their information to add to my contact base! WOOT WOOT for more contacts!
Anything you do, just let your customers know you CARE. That’s what it’s all about. 2015 is going to be the year that I work on building relationships. Not only in my business, but my family and friends!
