Fun Thirty-One Party Halloween Game

Here’s a really fun game to play at your Thirty-One home shows!

I’ll post the details below! I did this at my last party, so you get to see it live and how much fun they have with it!

Pumpkin Drawing Game:

Here’s the details! I print this and take to my party to read right from the paper:

You’ll want to take a piece of paper for each person and make sure everyone has a PEN!

October Party Game

Have them close their eyes and give them a piece of paper and pen and tell them these steps:

  1. Draw a pumpkin in the center of your page
  2. Put some bats above the pumpkin
  3. Draw a moon in the upper left corner
  4. Oops! Please put eyes and a nose on your pumpkin
  5. Put a spider web in the lower right hand corner
  6. Did I ask you to put a stem on top of your pumpkin? Please do that now!
  7. Draw some bones below your pumpkin
  8. Draw a ghost on your paper
  9. Please draw a witches broom on the left of the pumpkin
  10. Oh yes please put a spider in that web
  11. And now…let’s draw a witches hat on TOP of your pumpkin’s head!

Points scored as follows:

3 points if your pumpkin is in the middle of the page

1 point for every bat

2 points if the moon is in the left corner

2 points for the nose and each eye that is on the pumpkin

2 points if the web is in the lower right corner

4 points for the stem on top of the pumpkin

1 point for each bone

2 points if you drew eyes on your ghost

2 points if the broom is to the left of the pumpkin

5 points if the spider is in the web

10 points if your witches hat is actually on top of your pumpkins head

 

Give a gift to the guest with the most points.

Thirty-One Halloween Dice Booking Game

So the dice booking game has been one of the BEST games I’ve ever played at a home show.

So each holiday I try and incorporate it in a different and fun way.

I was at the Dollar Tree and found these adorable tins (4 to a pack) and grabbed a pack of Halloween sticker at the Dollar Tree to stick on the lid!

Halloween Booking Game Thirty-One

Here I took 2×4 labels

traced the tin on the label

cut around the inside of the circle

and placed the sticker on the bottom of the tin.

*I’m going to add a piece of Halloween candy to the tin. First person to get that # also gets the candy:)

Here’s the video on the wording for the Dice Booking Game and what I do for prizes:

It is VERY important that you use these exact #’s for the prize boxes. Someone out there has done the statistics of how many times a # was likely to be rolled. So, for instance, the #2 was the least rolled #. So you’re going to want to put your Grand Prize in that box!

#2- Grand Prize

#3 and #4- Prizes

#’s 5-9 are Book a Show

#’s 10-12 are prizes

What do you give away as the prizes?:

~key fobs

~$5 off your order

~free customer special (only if it’s cheap)

~Pick a prize (have a prize box with lots of little goodies from your company-key fobs, nail files, things from dollar bins at Target. etc)

What happens if two people get the same number?:

Nothing! When someone rolls the dice and gets their number, they open the box and see what their prize is. And then they put the box back on the tray! So it’s ok if someone rolls the dice and gets the same number.

How does this compare to my purse booking game?:

I will use them BOTH! They are both equally effective when it comes to booking. However, I like this matchbook dice booking game because I don’t have to switch out the prizes or anything. They just stay in the box. It’s cheap, but it’s adorable and kind of irresistible, so they can’t stand not to play!

The biggest time consumption I had with the purse game is that I had to change out the slips in them. And with 20 purses, it is sometimes a chore. Effective, but a chore.

Making Connections at Your Thirty-One Home Shows

Making a connection with your customers at the home show can make or break MANY things!

I want to show you really quickly how to increase sales, bookings, and even recruiting at your Thirty-One home parties. Take a look at this quick video:

So there you go! How EASY is that?

Take these little hand sanitizers, I got mine in a 3 pack at the Dollar Tree:

You slap a business address label on the back and now you’re giving each guest something they will NOT throw away that has your contact information on it.

By asking them these three questions:

  1. How do you know the hostess

2. What’s your occupation

3. and…do you have any kids

You’re making a CONNECTION. You’re making a connection that will help you:

  1. be able to SERVE her
    • If she’s a nurse, what bag would be GREAT for her?
  2. help you with having a conversation with you
    • Maybe you find a common thread. I used to be a nurse. Where do you work? Oh really, do you know so and so…
  3. help YOU to remember her
    • when you START with a conversation, you connect the dots. You’ll remember who she is
  4. find some common ground to even START a conversation with her
    • You said your son is in baseball…so is mine!
  5. figure out a conversation starter for a booking
    • So…you just moved into a new house? You would probably love to host a party, show off the new house, and get some great new organizing products for FREE for your new house. Or…baseball is SO expensive. Have you ever thought about doing a fundraiser?

Make it a point to TRY this at your next home show. And don’t forget to introduce YOURSELF the same way they do. So THEY make a connection to YOU!

Thirty-One Home Party Idea

I’m going to use this at my home shows to show off the Oh Snap Pockets and Bins!

I really don’t think people buy them as much as they would if they could SEE them in action! So we’re going to make it happen.

And then we’re going to try and increase sales by showing them my favorite products in use with the MAGNETS on the board!

I took a magnetic board. $7 at Walmart.
I took a magnetic curtain rod. $7 at Walmart.

I took a sticky magnet page and photo sleeve magnets and printed a few of my FAVORITE ways to use our product! Now I don’t just TALK about, they get to SEE! And I can actually take the magnets off and pass them around if I’m talking about it!

But that’s not even the coolest PART!!

When I’m ready to talk about oh snap pockets and bins, I just snap the magnetic curtain rod on!!! BAM! I think by them SEEING how the pockets and bins work, and seeing my favorite uses at the party…ill be able to make a bigger impact on why they NEED it!!
I’ll be using at my home shows all month and let you know how it goes!!

Christmas Dice Booking for Your Thirty-One Parties

Oh my gosh! This was SO much fun! So I took the Dice Booking Game and added a small twist with Christmas present boxes. And my guests LOVED the boxes!

My goal with the boxes was to get them in the spirit of GIFTING and thinking about Christmas presents! It was cute, fun, and festive. And I’ll be using this through the holidays! Find the rules below, but watch this video first!

Supplies:

1. fiesta bowl or vegetable tray…whatever that thing is called (from the original game):

2. Eleven Christmas boxes. I found mine at Dollar General for $1

3. Large colorful dice (or regular dice if you want to be that guy. Just kidding! Regular dice are fine!)

4. Some slips of paper to insert your prizes into the boxes. I used cardstock and made sure they fit in there pretty tight so they would stay in the bottom.

Prizes:

Hostess Gifts for Your Direct Sales Party

I saw this idea on another board a couple years ago. And I found the supplies for $2 at the Dollar Tree today! Hostess gift for $2? Heck yeah!

You take a bag of rocks to your party. Make sure you get the flat sided ones.

I also got the glass heart bowl at the Dollar Tree.

Then you have each guest at the party write something about the hostess on their rock.

You can get fine tip paint markers (a few of them) and pass those around for them to use.

They can write:

~one word that describes the hostess

~a memory

~an inside joke

…anything they want!

And then you put all the rocks in the glass heart bowl and she has something to remind her how awesome she is…and something to remind her how awesome YOU are too;)

Hostess Coaching Sheet and Let’s Book a Party Form-Like DUH!

I can’t believe it took me this long to figure this out. Like really…DUH! Put the Let’s Book a Party form and the Hostess Coaching Checklist on ONE sheet!

This is the most basic Hostess Checklist you can afford to do in your business.  All the major points you need to go over. But the really great thing about it, is that it’s a two-sided form (link to the form is below).

So you use the “let’s book a party” form in your guest packets at your home show. Then you KEEP all that information handy while you’re going through your hostess checklist before and after their party!

It’s also great because when she fills this out at a home show, you can show her what to expect from YOU regarding the hostess coaching steps! It’s perfect:)

And the biggest tip I can give to you regarding hostess coaching, is utilizing the Power Hour. Make Monday your hostess coaching day. Set aside 20 minutes to go through this checklist, update your hostesses on their progress, check in to see if they need anything, text those guest lists something fun…anything and everything HOSTESS COACHING! And watch how quickly your business will transform.

Thirty-One Backwards Catalog Party Presentation Outline

So, years ago, some fabulous consultant had the idea of using the catalog and working BACKWARDS during your party presentation. I have been using this for 2-3 years now and I wouldn’t do it any other way.

Your presentation for your home parties needs to be short, informative, and cover all the points you need to make. Booking, selling, Thirty-One Gives, celebrating your hostess, introduction, the opportunity to join Thirty-One, your products, and your customer and hostess specials.

So this is the outline our team uses for our home parties. We laminate the first page of this document. The rest of it is simply an explanation to our consultants on why we do the outline and each section of it.

Your guest packets for your home shows should be SIMPLE~EASY~FUN!

They should include:

1. Information about the opportunity to join Thirty-One

2. Information about the monthly customer specials

3. Information about booking a Thirty-One party for the current or following month

4. and somewhere on them…put something that shows YOU, your family, your 31 WHY, something to make it personal. Give them something to connect with on a personal basis.

The CONTENT is the same, but my friend Christina Rupracht had the idea of taking our guest packets and putting them into a binder. I tested them on a party last week and they LOVED them. And one thing I will be changing from this video, is on the front clear page pocket-I’m going to put a page of nothing but #’d product bundles for the current month’s special. I love the pocket dividers because I can put my extra papers in there. I can also add papers to the pockets, so I could throw them in there unitl I had time to work on that portion of my business. So any leads, I just throw them in the pocket 🙂

I have 100% faith that anyone can do this. YOU can do this! All you need is to stop making excuses of why you can’t find time, and figure out when you CAN find 20 minutes to get it done!
