Book 10 Holiday Thirty-One Parties!

So here’s a team challenge for our team. We have a goal of booking 10 holiday parties to close by October 15th.

WHY?

10 Holiday parties at $200 each, equals $2000 in sales. BAM! Right there. So let’s get after it!

Here are a couple of graphics we will be using. This will be an ongoing push until the end of October. The goal is to get people in the holiday spirit! It’s time to rock out this fall season to:

  1. Help everyone earn the Leadership Incentive Trip starting in October
  2. Get our customers on board, that if they host a party they get to shop from the outlet sale early
  3. increase sales in general
  4. increase the # of people in our customer group
  5. increase the amount of people we’re in front of, therefore increasing our chances of recruiting
  6. and the more people we’re in front of, the more people who will book for NOVEMBER!

Each month will have the same idea. A “holiday package” with the goal of booking 10 Holiday parties each month!

It states a $200 party because that’s EASY. But we will be focusing on hostess coaching to (OF COURSE) get them higher sales than $200!

Best Thing I EVER Did For MY Thirty-One Business

So I did it. I jumped. I tried something SO out of my box that I was literally ILL for 2 days over the anxiety of it. And MAN did it pay off big time.

First…watch this video. Because I think this will help you to understand that you HAVE to jump. You HAVE to try new things.

I jumped and guess what happened in a span of 48 hours?

  1. I had one LIVE event with 7 hostesses
  2. I added 150 people to my customer group
  3. I added 8 new Hostess of the Month Club members. brand new customers
  4. I had my HOTM members ordering JUST to take part in this event
  5. I have a potential recruit
  6. And I booked 2 parties

I posted this in every hostess event I had going on this month.

I messaged THIS to each of my hostesses (and attached the picture above):

Hi Amy! We’re going to do a “live” event in my Facebook group that will hopefully increase your sales for your party!

So there you have it! After the party was over and I did another LIVE video announcing winners, I told them I would do another drawing in the morning for the late birds.  Had a few more orders and they loved it.

All in all, this event:

  1. Booked me 8 parties total including SIX new Hostess of the Month Club members
  2. increased sales greatly
  3. got a potential recruit
  4. added 115 people to my customer group
  5. got my hostesses more engaged
  6. got my CURRENT hostess of the month club members engaged and excited

This was ALL done during my NEW Facebook party script with 4 LIVE videos that were pre-recorded and used in each event. Here is that script for you to see what was going on in their individual Facebook parties. I’ve never, in 7 years, had this much participation in my Facebook events. It was PHENOMENAL. And i will never do it any other way!

FUN Thirty-One Booking Tool!

So this is just a FUN way to get some parties booked in a very focused manner.

I’m going to show you how after you watch this quick video:

So, you’re going to want to go back through past hostesses. These are people who have booked BEFORE. And haven’t booked in a long time!

Go back one year and start working backwards.

Put a flier in the bottle and some kind of FUN. Whether it’s sand and shells, confetti, smarties candy, get creative and FUN with this!

Slap a label right on the bottle and the most important thing is FOLLOW UP! Make sure you’re following up with these people one week after you mail them.

I also used a cute little strip of fabric tape form the Dollar Tree to seal the bottom and wrote “open here” on it with a Sharpie marker! Dollar Tree also has sand and sea shells!

This cost me $2.45 to mail.

On the first piece of paper you’ll want to have:

  1. a “S.O.S.-I miss you” letter!
  2. Here’s what’s coming in May…and show customer and hostess specials

Here’s mine:

On the second piece of paper:

  1. have a mystery hostess gift coupon that is ONLY good in May (or the following month)
  2. make SURE you put a message like “Book a party for next month and get this Mystery Gift that is ONLY good in May!”
  3. Also add…TEXT ME “i’m ready to book a party” and I’ll get your easy peezy party to go packet on it’s way TODAY (and list your phone #)

And there you go. Put a smile on someone’s face with some FUN happy mail and get some parties on the books for this summer. People are busy…but sometimes busy is GOOD. So really focus on those catalog parties for the summer months when people are all over the place. Really focus on people getting their summer bags for FREE. Everyone needs some good bags for summer…why not help them get them FREE!

Thirty-One Hostess of the Month Club

Let me just start by saying, none of this would have been possible without the help of Diana Weger to inspire and teach me!

And the first thing you HAVE to do, is watch this video so you fully understand all the ins and outs of the HOTM (Hostess of the Month) Club. The video is 17 minutes long. But you’re gonna get all my tips and tricks and ways to make this work for YOU!

THE IDEA OF A HOSTESS OF THE MONTH CLUB:

This is the REALLY simplified idea of a Hostess of the Month Club:

**Get 6 ladies to commit to a $35 purchase every month, for 6 months. They can purchase for themselves, or collect an order from a friend or family member.

**You create a private group just for them on Facebook.

**All their orders due by 15th of each month. If 6 people order $35, that gives you a guaranteed party each month.

**One of those months, each person will be a hostess in the month they choose. So they take turns being hostess.

Post this in your customer group on Facebook. You can also EMAIL this, fb message, anything you want.1

Do you LOVE Thirty-One? This is for YOU!!
I am starting a new hostess of the month club in February! Get some boxes or packets together and take PICTURES of them and post AGAIN a couple days later!

Getting hostess of the month club packets together. When they keep seeing this over and over, they’ll slowly start warming up to the idea.

10 business cards
Some 31 hair ties
31 magnet calendar
Monthly specials flier

These people are basically 6 extended consultants for me. Doing my job. Collecting orders each month and spreading the word about my business. I want to make sure they’re HAPPY. And they’re prepared to SHARE!
Each month they’ll get the customer special fliers and a small gift. Probably a nail file. Book mark magnet. Something like that with the specials flier.
Think about it. I just booked one show for the next 6 months. They automatically get $200 from their club. So all they need to do on their month is reach $600 in Sales to get their hostess special of the month. And I will coach them to do it!!
I just almost guaranteed myself a $600 party for the next 6 months. Imagine if you got TWO groups filled??? This is your paycheck ladies. Spoil them. Make them want to do it AGAIN when it’s over!!

**Update…I now have FOUR ladies for my 4th club!!! 2 more ladies and I have 4 entire clubs filled!! My first month, one HOTM had $1300 in orders, the other had $380 I think? Now I’m adding 2 more clubs this month. The potential is out of this world ladies!

DOUBLE Your Customer Group on Facebook

My goal with the outlet sale has been CONTACTS. Our team has been working on a series of challenges to increase their contacts via their customer group.

Because we all know we need customers in our back office, we need contact information, and we ALWAYS need to be increasing our customer reach, right?

But we also know with the OUTLET SALE, that emails go out in waves. So I decided the best way for me to get sales, new long term customers, and build NEW relationships for the new year, was to get them added to my customer group on Facebook. That way I can announce the sale the moment it opens and they can be the first to shop.

I posted this picture in my team and said, how many of these retiring products do YOU have? Most had at least 3, some had like 20 or more! Whew! Wow. We love our Thirty-One. LOL!

So I took the retirement list and posted THIS in my customer group:

I’m giving away FOUR of these current products that are retiring…who wants one? I believe that was one of the most successful posts I’ve ever had in my customer page. Because they all want a free product, right?

Then after I had their attention, I let them know in 24 hours we would be doing the give away. Now, I started with 850 people in my closed customer group. And what did I end up with 36 hours later? 1,667 customers on my closed customer page!! I DOUBLED my reach!

These are:

  1. new customers
  2. new sales
  3. new business for me in 2016
  4. new recruits for me in 2016
  5. new bookings for me in 2016

I am SO excited! So this is what I posted in my customer group:

Thirty-One Personal Shopping Party

I don’t have anymore home shows. And my product is just sitting here not making any money. So here’s my idea for the next few days!
Posted in my customer group. Now, you could just have a group of 15-20 products. You’ll want to make sure you have an inventory paper of the products you drop off. And certainly only do this with those you trust!:

Why would I do this?

My product isn’t making me any money in my living room. So why not let it sit in someone else’s living room? I think I’m going to visit this as a new way to do a personal party. I’m going to advertise this at my party as a 3 day venture. May be a new road Melissa is going to travel! Stay tuned!!

This would help:

  1. increase sales

     2. get people chatting on Facebook about your product

     3. possibly increase bookings. There’s a plethora of things I can think to do WITH this to increase sales and leads.

     4. possibly increase recruits (oh this is easy…I love playing with all this stuff and showing my friends)

     5. it’s a non-threatening way to let people enjoy your products.

20 Minute Power Hour for Your Direct Sales Business on Marketing

Marketing your direct sales business. All it takes is 20 minutes of focused time.

When you focus on something, you expand it. And when you focus on marketing, you will:

  1. Increase sales by reaching out to new and old customers
  2. Increase bookings and recruits by referrals. Because everyone knows YOU sell Thirty-One and are open for business
  3. Have your customers spreading your business for you through social media avenues
  4. And create an environment in your community where YOU are the “go to” girl!

I have compiled a list of tasks you can work on during your 20 minutes of Marketing. It’s SO easy. But you have to be committed to your business and focus on expanding your efforts to increase your marketing to your community (online as well as locally). You’ll find the file below. You can print the form and literally just go down the list when you need to work on your marketing for that 20 minutes. You have officially lost your excuse NOT to work on marketing, because I’ve given you an entire sheet of things to work on!

And let me be very clear. Just because you do not know HOW to do Instagram, or Twitter, or Pinterest…that’s not an excuse. You can use this 20 minutes to research it and DO IT! You will learn along the way.
